The Third Season of "True Blood" Katee Sackhoff Turned down a role

She has revealed that Katee turned down a role in the film season of True Blood. the 24 star had been in the running for a part as Alcide's ex Debbie pelt. However, the role went to brit morgan when katee decided to join the xast of ABC's police drama pilot Boston's finest.
Why turn down a sure thing — not to mention one of the hottest shows on the tube — for a project that may not see a second episode?

Katee Sackhoff Celebrity Interviews-24

“I am a huge fan of True Blood,” Sackhoff responds. “It’s a phenomenal show and [exec producer] Alan Ball is a f—ing genius. But I wanted more security than one season of something, so I rolled the dice with [Boston's Finest]. This entire business is about rolling the dice and hoping you made the right decision. I almost didn’t take 24 to do my own series on USA Network, and that worked out. I’m sure [Brit] is going to be fantastic [as Debbie].”

Sackhoff, who plays a female detective in the ABC procedural, will find out in two weeks if Boston is a go. How is she feeling about its chances? “I have no idea,” she admits. “The one thing I do know is that we have a phenomenal cast and a fantastic script. We have on paper everything we needed to create something fantastic.”

Thoughts? Bummed you won’t get to see Sackhoff apply her special brand of crazy to Debbie? Or do you think this was fate’s way of making sure the role landed in Morgan’s lap (and word is she’s nailing the part)? Hit the comments!

Iron Man Filme video show

iron mane : video

"When the door clicks shut, then you are safe," says the veteran actor, who spent a good amount of time between 1996 and 2001 in prison for drug use and possession. "There is nothing aside from a rogue correctional officer that can do you harm if you have the right cellie. You are actually in the safest place on Earth. Safe from the intruders."

For Downey, those intruders were his addictions — which started when his father, Robert Downey Sr., reportedly began giving him drugs when he was just 8 years old, and didn't stop.

In the upcoming issue of Rolling Stone, Downey talks about everything from doing cocaine with his pops and — drumroll, please — Jack Nicholson, to his eventual downward spiral into a heroin addiction.

Recalling one particularly bad trip after his first time behind bars, the actor says: "It was the only coke that ever tasted as good as the coke I did with my dad and Jack." The bender led to a heroin spree with the son of a "local phenom."

"All those years of snorting coke, and then I accidentally get involved in heroin after smoking crack for the first time. It finally tied my shoelaces together."

Downey admits that when he was low, he was really low.

"Smoking dope and smoking coke, you are rendered defenseless. The only way out of that hopeless state is intervention," he tells the mag, on stands Friday.

Downey finally got that intervention in 2003, when he entered rehab (and got "the best shrink in America") and successfully turned his life around.

Now sober for seven years, Downey plans to stay that way. "The ramifications of a little slip are not what they used to be," he says. "It's not kid stuff anymore."

Now the actor is looking forward to the future — namely "Iron Man 2" and growing old with his wife, Susan Downey.

"Now I think, 'Oh, my God, me and the missus will be [in our L.A. home] until the grandkids attend our funerals.' We'll always be here. We'll never f—ing move from here. Crazy."

Katie Holmes to Play Video TV mini-series

LOS ANGELES (Reuters) - Katie Holmes will play Jacqueline Kennedy in a TV mini-series based on the life of revered U.S. President John F. Kennedy, producers said on Wednesday.

Holmes, 31, who is married to Tom Cruise and appeared in the 2005 movie "Batman Begins," will be joined by "Little Miss Sunshine" star Greg Kinnear as John F. Kennedy in the eight-hour series due to be broadcast on cable channel History in 2011.

British actor Tom Wilkinson will play ambassador Joe Kennedy Sr., the family patriarch, and Canadian actor Barry Pepper will take the role of JFK's brother, Attorney General Robert Kennedy.

"The Kennedys" is the first foray by History into scripted mini-series, and it looks at the rise of the family's political dynasty and the early years of Kennedy's presidency before he was assassinated in Dallas, Texas in 1963.

His presidency is often referred to as America's Camelot because it was a time of hope and optimism as the young president and his wife occupied the White House. They were widely seen as a new generation taking the reins of power.

Jacqueline Kennedy, considered one of the most beautiful and stylish women in the world, later married Greek shipping magnate Aristotle Onassis and died of cancer in 1994.

Holmes made her name in the teen TV drama "Dawson's Creek" and became an international celebrity by marrying Cruise in 2006 after giving birth to their daughter Suri.

Kinnear is considered a top character actor who has shown a range of skills in film comedies and dramas, from art house fare like "Auto Focus" to major studio release "Baby Mama."

Katherine Heigl Early life and family View

Early life
Heigl was born in Washington, D.C., the daughter of Nancy, a personnel manager, and Paul Heigl, a financial executive and accountant. Heigl has German and Irish ancestry, and was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.[5][6][7] She is the youngest of four children (her siblings are Meg, Jason, and Holt). Heigl lived in Virginia and then Denver before her family settled in Connecticut, where they moved into a large, old Victorian-style farmhouse in the wealthy town of New Canaan, where she spent most of her childhood.

In 1986, her older brother Jason died of injuries suffered in a car accident, after being thrown from the back of a pickup truck while out for lunch with some of his high school classmates. Following his death, the family decided to donate his organs.[Afterward, their parents converted to The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (prior to that her mother was Lutheran and her father Catholic). Heigl is now a strong proponent of organ donation. Although she is no longer a "strong practicing Mormon", she stated that she hopes to "...find my way back as I get older and a little less selfish.

Career:
When Heigl was nine, an aunt visiting the family decided to take a number of photographs of her. After returning to her home in New York, her aunt sent the photos to a number of modeling agencies, with the permission of Heigl's parents. Within a few weeks, Heigl was signed with Wilhelmina Models as a child model.[14] Soon after signing with the agency, a client slated Heigl for use in a magazine advertisement where she made her debut. At the time, she was earning $75 an hour posing for Sears and Lord & Taylor catalogs. Heigl appeared in her first national television spot for Cheerios cereal.

She made her acting debut in the 1992 movie That Night. Heigl appeared as Christina Sebastian in Steven Soderbergh's Depression-era drama King of the Hill before being cast in her first leading role in the 1994 comedy My Father the Hero. During this time, Heigl continued to attend New Canaan High School, balancing her film and modeling work with her academic studies. Heigl dropped out of New Canaan High School after her sophomore year to pursue her career in Hollywood.

In 1995, she starred in the Steven Seagal action thriller Under Siege 2: Dark Territory. Heigl portrayed a 16-year-old travelling on a train across a mountain pass (out of communications range) to visit the grave of her deceased father with uncle Casey Ryback (Seagal), an ex-SEAL counter-terrorist expert. The main plotline has the train hijacked by mercenaries in Colorado, keeping her as a hostage. Much of her work in the film was opposite Morris Chestnut, Sandra Taylor and Everett McGill.

Despite an increased focus on acting, she still modeled extensively, appearing regularly in magazines such as Seventeen. She took the lead role in Disney's made-for-television film Wish Upon a Star in 1996. Also in 1996, Heigl's parents divorced and her mother was diagnosed with cancer.[8] After her high school graduation in 1997, she moved with her mother into a four-bedroom house in Malibu Canyon, Los Angeles, and her mother became her manager.
In 1998, she co-starred with Peter Fonda in a re-working of the classic Shakespearian play The Tempest, set during the American Civil War. Later that year, she starred in the horror film Bride of Chucky.

Miranda Kerr Like New Hot Pose Girl .....

Last week there was news flash about the Victoria's Secret angel Miranda Kerr spending her Thanksgiving holidays in style with Orlando Bloom in Morocco. A galaxy of other celebs like Jennifer Aniston, Gwyneth Paltrow, Adrien Brody and Salma Hayek were also in Morocco at the grand reopening of La Mamounia hotel in the Moroccan capital city Marrakesh (also spelled as Marrakech or Murakush)

Bloom who arrived with girlfriend Miranda Kerr said, "Miranda and I spend so much time apart, she's working hard, I'm working hard, so we have to grab time together whenever we can… A weekend here, a weekend there." About their engagement rumors flying thick and fast, he said that they were just enjoying time together now.

Kerr is attracted Buddhism and practices Nichiren Buddhism, a Japanese branch of Buddhism, and she is a member of the Soka Gakkai International (SGI). Kerr reportedly chants prayers every morning and night according to Nichiren beliefs, practices yoga, meditates.
Kerr began dating finance broker Adrian Camilleri in 2003, and after an Australian Securities and Investments Commission investigation found him guilty of fraudulent behaviour, Kerr ended the relationship. THE BACK-UP PLAN Tops Weak Friday Box Office Jennifer Lopez

Lebels:jennifer lopez, big screen, hot jennifer lopez, jennifer lopez artificially, wonderful in life of future jennifer lopez

With The Back-Up Plan, Jennifer Lopez returns to the big screen after being MIA for four years. Like most of her movies, this one falls in the romantic comedy category which proves, yet again, to be her forte. She plays Zoe, a 30 something successful pet store owner who has given up her chances of finding the elusive Mr. Right and becomes artificially inseminated.
All is wonderful in her life of future single motherhood until she bumps into Stan (Alex O'Loughlin), a divorcee who owns a farm and makes yummy cheeses. After battling over a cab, riding a train together and finding a lucky penny on the street, the two say goodbye having clearly left a flirtatious mark on each other. As much as Zoe wants to forget she ever met him and continue with her plan of solitude, Stan keeps popping up (both forced and unforced) in her life. It's no secret that Zoe will give in to Stan's rock hard abs, err... I mean, soft spoken emotions. But reality sets in when Zoe admits she is pregnant with a sperm donor's baby and Stan has to decide if he wants to stay in the relationship or walk away.

The journey and decisions that are made along the way of Zoe's nine month pregnancy are what contribute to the heart of the film in a way that makes it feel genuine with no lack of comedic flair. I found myself appreciating Lopez's character; she was honest and vulnerable. And I'm sure it was no mistake she got to show off her post-baby four pack stomach either. (Work it girl!) However, Lopez didn't hold back when the script called for her pregnant character to battle a meaty soup with just her hands, mouth and bread, or try to fall her way into a cab while wearing a too tight dress. She was charming and human.

I'll admit to having never seen Alex O'Loughlin's previous work, but he does very well at not appearing as a bumbling lovestruck idiot and instead pursues Lopez's character in an adorable (read: not creepy) way. His romantic gestures (disturbed by things like red wine spills and fire) are heart-flutter worthy and, in my eyes, instantly transform the unknown into a new competitor for the big screen rom-com leads.

Although the film centers mainly on Zoe and Stan, an array of comic relief side characters made their way into the spotlight as well. Michaela Watkins as Zoe's best friend Mona, Anthony Anderson as Stan's new found playground buddy and Melissa McCarthy as the leader of Zoe's single mother support group, all managed to make their comedic presence known without derailing the movie's plot.

Since viewing the movie last night, alongside more than a hundred other women all there for a girl's night out, I've read several reviews of the film. I was surprised to find such bad press. Some pieces debated that the film deters women from believing they can raise children on their own. My reaction: this movie wasn't meant to be a thesis topic for 2010 feminism movements. It's a romantic comedy, there's a formula: lead actress has to end up with lead actor, and we're just there for the ride. It's how the screenwriter (Kate Angelo) tells the story, and the how the actors portray it that should really garner our interest. And in my simple movie viewer eye, The Back-Up Plan was both romantic and comedic in a way that left me satisfied. As for Lopez, this newest wave into her sea of romantic comedies may very well be her best yet.

Impressed with Victoria Beckham's latest clothing collection

When Beyonce Knowles decided to Spice up her stage gear there was only one person to go to - pop star turned designer, Posh.

Impressed with Victoria Beckham's latest clothing collection, Beyonce personally contacted Posh, 36, with a view to working with her on designs to wear for her gigs in the States this winter.

We're told: "Beyonce is a big fan of Victoria's work, and was given a couple of samples from the new collection - including some sunglasses which she has been wearing at any given opportunity.

"Victoria was flattered and has agreed, in principle, to suggest some designs.

"While Beyonce already has the sunnies and a few dresses, it is Victoria's more elegant full-length designs that she particularly loves as they are a real departure from her usual glitzy stage costumes.

"This collaboration could be the start of something big."

But given she's married to the world's most famous footballer, Victoria Beckham clearly felt her reputation of queen WAG was sufficient justification.

The 36-year-old revelled in a new level of extravagance this week after hiring a team of flunkies to carry her bags during a shopping trip in New York on Tuesday.

Perhaps husband David would have displayed his chivalrous side and at least offered to take his wife's handbag himself, had he not been struggling to walk.

His left foot was cased in a black cast, which he has been sporting ever since injuring his Achilles tendon in March.

Even so, he dutifully hobbled along behind as Victoria darted from shop to shop, gathering bags which were then handed to her assistants.

Heidi Klum On Supermodel To Super Mom: Two in One

Heidi Klum
Hill has a lot in common with "Project Runway" host, Heidi Klum. Both have big families and famous husbands. Hill has three daughters with husband Tim McGraw and Klum has four children with husband Seal.

“Project Runway” closed out its fifth season with Bravo’s biggest-ever ratings, but host Heidi Klum is not certain she’ll ever get to “auf” an aspiring designer again.

“Runway” had almost 5 million people tuning in to watch Leanne Marshall, the 27-year-old designer from Portland, Oregon, out design her competitors, Korto Momolu and Kenley Collins, to be named the winner of “Project Runway” season five. But a battle between Bravo and Lifetime has the future of the hit design show hanging by a thread purchased at Mood.

As previously reported on Access, in September a court granted NBC Universal (Access Hollywood’s parent company) an injunction against The Weinstein Company (“Runway’s” producer), who planned on taking the show to competitor Lifetime.

“I just hope that they figure out this whole drama that they have going on and that we get [the sixth season] aired,” Heidi said.

As for the end of this season, Heidi told Access that she’s very happy with the designer who said she found inspiration for her sustainable line while sitting on a riverbank in Portland.

“I just hope that we air,” Host Heidi Klum told Access Hollywood Thursday while filming an her Got Milk campaign ad. “We had such a great sixth season. Tomorrow is actually the last day, we’ve shot everything already. So, I really just hope that we get aired. Otherwise, people would not see the amazing talent that is on the show.”

“I’m so excited for Leanne. What a great designer and what a nice girl she is too. I hope she’s gonna make it far. She deserves every bit of it,” Heidi told Access. “She worked really really hard and she’s very talented. She had new ideas and I think that’s what our competition on ‘Project Runway’ is all about.”

Heidi Klum made news when she chopped off her long locks and debuted a surprising new 'do. Since then she's gotten a little experimental with the look, and on Tuesday night at the launch of Eva Longoria Parker's new fragrance "Eva," she wore her hair slicked back with a whole lot of gel. Baby Beyonce? Friend

Friend : Beyonce

Fans who can't wait to see Beyoncé Knowles and Jay-Z start a family will have to be patient.

Despite an online report that the singer is pregnant, Beyoncé's rep tells PEOPLE magazine the story is "not true." In the past, Knowles, 28, has spoken about her desire to start a family with her husband, 40. "I hope that those things will just happen naturally," she told Allure magazine for its February issue. The pair, who were married in a secret ceremony, celebrate their second anniversary on 4th April. The pregnancy rumour surfaced the same week a paternity test confirmed that Knowles' dad, Mathew, 58, is the father of a baby boy, according to a TMZ report.

Knowles was born in Houston, Texas, the daughter of Mathew Knowles, a professional record manager, and Tina Knowles, a costume designer and hair stylist. Knowles' father is African American and her mother is of Creole (African American, Native American, and French) descent. Knowles was baptized after her mother's maiden name, as a tribute to her mother.[ She is the elder sister of Solange, a singer-songwriter and actress.

Knowles was schooled at St. Mary's Elementary School in Texas, where she enrolled in dance classes, including ballet and jazz. Her talent in singing was discovered when her dance instructor began humming a song and she finished it, hitting the high-pitched notes. Although a shy girl, as her mother considered her, Knowles' interest in music and performing began unexpectedly after participating in a school talent show. Once she had a moment on the stage, she overcame her shyness and wanted to become a singer and performer. By age seven, Knowles had entered her first talent show, singing John Lennon's "Imagine". She won the contest and was honored with a standing ovation. At the same age, Knowles started gaining attention from the press, having been mentioned in the Houston Chronicle as a nominee for the local performing arts award The Sammy.

Product Description
With Wet Nightmares, Wet Dreams, Mr. Huxley has surely realized a dream come true come not being the only operative word that is: a truly original concept, brilliantly executed. For what subliminal primal urge could possibly be denied through the truth-confrontation of dreams and nightmares wet nightmares, wet dreams at that? The answer, of course, is none, and it would seem that many of male erotica s top authorities would agree, if their seemingly flagrant enthusiasm to share literary nocturnal emissions with the reading public were any indication. Fact is, Wet Nightmare s TOC reads like a Who s who? in the genre: Barry Alexander, Ken Anderson, Antler, M. Christian, Rick Jackson, Thom Nickels, Ian Phillips, Simon Sheppard, Mel Smith, Greg Wharton, Mark Wildyr and Huxley himself, to name drop just a bit. Wet Dreams should convince any remaining disbelievers once and for all that Michael Huxley is the guy you want to be submitting to these days if y wanna write erotica the way y never dreamed you d be able and continue to publish given the nightmare world of restrictive genre guidelines abounding in gay publishing today. Voluptuously packaged, well-packed with dreamy/creamy sexscapes and nightmares so intense they ll scare the living semen right out of you, Wet Nightmares, Wet Dreams delivers the goods from new erotic territories in this case, from the bottomless sexual mineshaft of secrets, the desires and misgivings, that all men harbor, that they are so loath to divulge, most especially to themselves. source of shift source seo by google.com

Betty White says ‘It blows my mind … I can’t get over, at my age, what all’s going on’

Betty White says ‘It blows my mind … I can’t get over, at my age, what all’s going on’

Don’t ask Betty White what she’ll be doing when she hosts “Saturday Night Live” on May 8.

“I don’t have any idea what I’ll be doing,” she says. But she has veto power, and she won’t be doing any dope jokes. “I don’t think dope is funny,” she says.

White, 88, had turned down several opportunities to host “SNL” over the years.

“It’s so intimidating,” she said in a conference call this afternoon with reporters. “It’s so New York, and I’m so California.”

Her agent insisted that the take the hosting job this time. “Between us, I’m scared to death,” she told reporters. (She is pictured at an awards ceremony earlier this month in this photo by Frederick M. Brown of Getty Images.)

White says she usually memorizes her lines or ad libs. “I’ve never been able to work from cue cards,” she says, citing the “SNL” way of putting on a show. “I hope I don’t have to wear my glasses.”

Other golden nuggets from White:

***”Golden Girls” co-star Rue McClanahan is home and “doing fine” after a triple bypass and a stroke.

*** What of pal Sandra Bullock’s private life? “I love her dearly,” White said, then added that Bullock’s private life is her own business.

***Working with CBS’ Craig Ferguson has been the most fun of anything she’s done in her recent spurt of work. “He’s incredible,” White said. “We can’t dare to make eye contact or we crack up.”

***She credits her “rather bawdy sense of humor” to her father, a traveling salesman who brought home jokes and told her which ones she could take to school.

***She loved playing Sue Ann Nivens on “The Mary Tyler Moore Show.”

“She was so rotten. She was the neighborhood nymphomaniac,” White said.

White has enjoyed an outpouring of love this year from the public and her showbiz colleagues. How is she feeling and does she tire of the nonstop adulation?

“It blows my mind,” she said. “I’m blessed with good health, and I’m grateful for it. My energy level is very high. I can’t get over, at my age, what all’s going on. All I can do is roll with the punch and enjoy it thoroughly.”

Michaels, who remains in "critical but stable" condition in an ICU unit

Bret Michaels [ tickets ] condition following a brain hemorrhage last week was upgraded early yesterday (4/27) but by the end of the day, he was described as having a setback.

Michaels, who remains in "critical but stable" condition in an ICU unit, was diagnosed with hyponatremia, which is a low sodium condition that can lead to seizures, according to published reports.

Michaels' brain hemorrhage has been classified as "subarachnoid," which is a type of stroke that causes bleeding in the fluid-filled spaces around the base of the brain, according to a statement posted on his website and social networking sites. The location of the hemorrhage has fueled speculation that Michaels' head injury at the Tonys last June may have been a factor in his current medical state. Additional tests are planned throughout the week to detect the exact location of the rupture.

Michaels' father told reporters his son was speaking but still quite sedated. The recently diagnosed sodium problem reportedly could lead to a slower recovery.

Doctors reportedly remain hopeful for a full recovery. However, they do not expect to release more specific information until early next week.

"Test results indicate a setback in Bret Michaels' condition, a side effect from the brain hemorrhage called hyponatremia; a lack of sodium in the body which leads to seizures," the statement reads. "Due to the severity of his condition, Bret Michaels continues to remain hospitalized in an intensive care unit at an undisclosed hospital."

Michaels, 47, was taken to the hospital late Thursday night, after complaining of severe headaches. Doctors eventually discovered that he had suffered a subarachnoid hemorrhage, a survivable but serious stroke that causes bleeding in the fluid-filled spaces around the base of the brain.
